The Satanic Bible was written by Anton LaVey in 1969. It is a collection of essays, observations and basic Satanic rituals, and outlines LaVey's Satanic ideology. The author claims the influence of Ragnar Redbeard and Ayn Rand among others.

The book contains the core principles of Satanism and is considered the foundation of the philosophy and dogma that constitute Satanism.

The Satanic Bible, after the introductions by other authors, is divided into four books: the Book of Satan, the Book of Lucifer, the Book of Belial, and finally the Book of Leviathan. LaVey seems to have taken this hierarchy from The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, in which these four demons serve as the chiefs of Hell. Each book approaches a different aspect of Satanism, and serves a unique purpose within the structure of The Satanic Bible.

The Book of Satan: The Infernal Diatribe introduces Satanism in dramatic fashion: through the verse of Ragnar Redbeard in Might is Right. Anton LaVey chose segments from different sections of Might is Right, and made slight changes to the verse to amend what he perceived as errors in logic or consistency with Might is Right. As Anton LaVey stated in his introduction to later editions of Might is Right, he found both considerable inspiration in that book, but also glaring errors that made it, taken part by part, incompatible with his Satanic philosophy; it was instead the whole of the message that he found appealing, and the passages selected and changes made to best capture what he found appealing in Might is Right. The Book of Satan was also recited by LaVey in ritual ceremonies, in part or in whole, and his recording of The Satanic Mass includes a full recitation of The Book of Satan.

The Book of Lucifer: The Enlightenment directly follows The Book of Satan. After the indignant intonation of The Book of Satan, The Book of Lucifer seeks to logically expound the philosophy and dogma of Satanism. The Book of Lucifer is divided into twelve essays, each of them a vital component of LaVey's architecture of Satanism.

The Book of Belial: The Mastery of the Earth introduces in detail the Satanic concept of magic. It is, like the Book of Lucifer, divided into essays, each of which brings greater explanation of what LaVey defined as magic and how he believed it could be applied.

The Book of Leviathan: The Raging Sea contains explicit instructions as to what is to be said and done during ritual. Its text is largely comprised of invocations and ritual verse, including the Invocation to Satan performed at the outset of each ritual, The Infernal Names, and separate invocations for each of the three ritual types. It also includes the nineteen Enochian Keys, a dark reinterpretation of John Dee's verses of the same name in the fictive language Enochian. These keys serve as moving ritual chants in Satanic ritual, and the English translations serve likewise as versed statements of Satanic dogma. The meaning of the Enochian Keys was altered by LaVey from John Dee's version in an effort to make them more consistent with Satanic dogma while retaining their usefulness as ritual devices.

The Satanic Rituals is a book by Anton Szandor LaVey published in 1972 as a companion volume to The Satanic Bible. It is a collection of nine rituals with an introductory essay to each.

Satanic ritual abuse (SRA, sometimes known as ritual abuse, ritualistic abuse, organised abuse, sadistic abuse or ritual abuse-torture and other variants) refers to a moral panic that originated in the United States in the 1980s, spreading throughout the country and eventually to many parts of the world, before subsiding in the late 1990s. Allegations of SRA involved reports of physical and sexual abuse of individuals in the context of occult or satanic rituals. At its most extreme definition, SRA involved a world-wide conspiracy involving the wealthy and powerful of the world elite in which children were abducted or bred for sacrifices, pornography and prostitution.

The Malleus Maleficarum was published in 1487 by Heinrich Kramer (Latinized Institoris) and James Sprenger (also known as Jacob or Jakob Sprenger).

The Malleus Maleficarum asserts that three elements are necessary for witchcraft: the evil-intentioned witch, the help of the Devil, and the Permission of God. The treatise is divided up into three sections. The first section refutes critics who denied the reality of witchcraft, thereby hindering its prosecution. The second section describes the actual forms of witchcraft and its remedies. The third section is to assist judges confronting and combating witchcraft. However, each of these three sections has the prevailing themes of what is witchcraft and who is a witch. The Malleus Maleficarum can hardly be called an original text, for it heavily relies upon earlier works such as Visconti, Torquemada and, most famously, Johannes Nider's Formicarius (1435).

Section I

Section I argues that because the Devil exists and has the power to do astounding things, witches exist to help, if done through the aid of the Devil and with the permission of God.[ The Devil’s power is greatest where human sexuality is concerned, for it was believed that women were more sexual than men. Loose women had sex with the Devil, thus paving their way to become witches. To quote the Malleus “all witchcraft comes from carnal lust, which is in women insatiable.”

Section II

In section II of the Malleus Maleficarum, the authors turn to matters of practice by discussing actual cases. This section first discusses the powers of witches, and then goes into recruitment strategies. It is mostly witches as opposed to the Devil who do the recruiting, by making something go wrong in the life of a respectable matron that makes her consult the knowledge of a witch, or by introducing young maidens to tempting young devils. This section also details how witches cast spells and remedies that can be taken to prevent witchcraft or help those that have been affected by it.

Section III

Section III is the legal part of the Malleus that describes how to prosecute a witch. The arguments are clearly laid for the lay magistrates prosecuting witches. Institoris and Sprenger offer a step-by-step guide to the conduct of a witch trial, from the method of initiating the process and assembling accusations, to the interrogation (including torture) of witnesses, and the formal charging of the accused. Women who did not cry during their trial were automatically believed to be witches.

The Book of Dead is the common name for the ancient Egyptian funerary text known as "Spells of Coming" (or "Going") "Forth By Day". The book of dead was a description of the ancient Egyptian conception of the afterlife and a collection of hymns, spells, and instructions to allow the deceased to pass through obstacles in the afterlife. The book of dead was most commonly written on a papyrus scroll and placed in the coffin or burial chamber of the deceased.

The name "Book of the Dead" was the invention of the German Egyptologist Karl Richard Lepsius, who published a selection of the texts in 1842. When it was first discovered, the book of the dead was thought to be an ancient Egyptian Bible. But unlike the Bible, The Book of the Dead does not set forth religious tenets and was not considered by the ancient Egyptians to be the product of divine revelation, which allowed the content of the book of the dead to change over time. The Book of the Dead was thus the product of a long process of evolution from the Pyramid texts of the Old Kingdom to the Coffin Texts of the Middle Kingdom. About one-third of the chapters in The Book of the Dead are derived from the Coffin Texts. The Book of the Dead itself was adapted to The Book of Breathings in the Late Period, but remained popular in its own right until the Roman period.

The Book of the Dead is the common name for the ancient Egyptian funerary texts known as The Book of Coming [or Going] Forth By Day. The name "Book of the Dead" was the invention of the German Egyptologist Karl Richard Lepsius, who published a selection of some texts in 1842.

Religion guided every aspect of Egyptian life. Egyptian religion was based on polytheism, or the worship of many deities. The Egyptians had as many as 2000 gods and goddesses each representing characteristics of a specific earthly force, combined with a heavenly power. Often gods and goddesses were represented as part human and part animal.

They considered animals such as the bull, the cat, and the crocodile to be holy. Their two chief gods were Amon-Ra and Osiris. Amon-Ra was believed to be the sun god and the lord of the universe. Osiris was the god of the underworld and was the god that made a peaceful afterlife possible. The Egyptian "Book of the Dead" contains the major ideas and beliefs in the ancient Egyptian religion. Because their religion stressed an afterlife, Egyptians devoted much time and energy into preparing for their journey to the "next world."

The text was initially carved on the exterior of the deceased person's sarcophagus, but was later written on papyrus now known as scrolls and buried inside the sarcophagus with the deceased, presumably so that it would be both portable and close at hand. Other texts often accompanied the primary texts including the hypocephalus (meaning 'under the head') which was a primer version of the full text.

Books of the Dead constituted as a collection of spells, charms, passwords, numbers and magical formulas for the use of the deceased in the afterlife. This described many of the basic tenets of Egyptian mythology. They were intended to guide the dead through the various trials that they would encounter before reaching the underworld. Knowledge of the appropriate spells was considered essential to achieving happiness after death. Spells or enchantments vary in distinctive ways between the texts of differing "mummies" or sarcophagi, depending on the prominence and other class factors of the deceased.

Books of the Dead were usually illustrated with pictures showing the tests to which the deceased would be subjected. The most important was the weighing of the heart of the dead person against Ma'at, or Truth (carried out by Anubis). The heart of the dead was weighed against a feather, and if the heart was not weighed down with sin (if it was lighter than the feather) he was allowed to go on. The god Thoth would record the results and the monster Ammit would wait nearby to eat the heart should it prove unworthy.

The earliest known versions date from the 16th century BC during the 18th Dynasty (ca. 1580 BC–1350 BC). It partly incorporated two previous collections of Egyptian religious literature, known as the Coffin Texts (ca. 2000 BC) and the Pyramid Texts (ca. 2600 BC-2300 BC), both of which were eventually superseded by the Book of the Dead.

The text was often individualized for the deceased person - so no two copies contain the same text - however, "book" versions are generally categorized into four main divisions – the Heliopolitan version, which was edited by the priests of the college of Annu (used from the 5th to the 11th dynasty and on walls of tombs until about 200); the Theban version, which contained hieroglyphics only (20th to the 28th dynasty); a hieroglyphic and hieratic character version, closely related to the Theban version, which had no fixed order of chapters (used mainly in the 20th dynasty); and the Saite version which has strict order (used after the 26th dynasty).

Has Nostradamus predicted the coming Apocalypse along with a thousand other great events? His believers claim that in the 1500s he predicted historic milestones that have or will alter the course of human history, such as the rise of Napoleon and Hitler. Published here are the hard to find original English translations from 1672 to help you answer that question. Finally, you can look through the actual work of Nostradamus to see if you can solve his riddles. He scribed over a thousand quatrains that cover events from the 1500s to the year 3797. Since these were translated by Theodore Garencieres, before the rise of the first two antichrists, they are untainted with the bias of current events. See if you can unravel the hidden meaning of his quatrains and discover his vision of the future. Plagued by the Inquisition, Nostradamus was notorious for obfuscating his meaning with anagrams, symbolism, and mythological allusions. Study of his work can be a fascinating hobby or intellectual exercise that can be quite enjoyable. What great event will be discovered next in this cryptic text?

Nostradamus (1503-1566) was a medieval physician who became an astrologer and prophet. His renown has grown immensely in recent years as we have witnessed the passing of his predictions. He wrote his prognostications in poetic form in collections of centuries that have inspired man for over 400 years.

 THE BOOK OF SECRETS

Secrets by their very nature are an effectual contrivance of horror. Secrets can be extremely dangerous, whether they remain hidden or are inopportunely revealed. It should be no surprise that the Demiplane of Dread is a land of many secrets. In the pages that follow, you will find many secrets of the Demiplane of Dread and Gothic Earth revealed. Now you must ask yourself, “are these secrets I keep, or secrets I reveal?” If you are truly fortunate, the Dark Powers and the Red Death will not take notice of your choice…

THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD

Is ostensibly a book describing the experiences to be expected at the moment of death, during an intermediate phase lasting forty-nine (seven times seven) days, and during rebirth into another bodily frame. This however is merely the exoteric framework which the Tibetan Buddhists used to cloak their mystical teachings. The language and symbolism of death rituals of Bonism, the traditional pre-Buddhist Tibetan religion, were skillfully blended with Buddhist conceptions. The esoteric meaning, as it has been interpreted in this manual, is that it is death and rebirth that is described, not of the body. Lama Govinda indicates this clearly in his introduction when he writes: “It is a book for the living as well as the dying.” The book’s esoteric meaning is often concealed beneath many layers of symbolism. It was not intended for general reading. It was designed to be understood only by one who was to be initiated personally by a guru into the Buddhist mystical doctrines, into the pre-mortem-death-rebirth experience. These doctrines have been kept a closely guarded secret for many centuries, for fear that naive or careless application would do harm. In translating such an esoteric text, therefore, there are two steps: one, the rendering of the original text into English; and two, the practical interpretation of the text for its uses. is designed to teach the person to direct and control awareness in such a way as to reach that level of understanding variously called liberation, illumination, or enlightenment.

All ONE Wicca

Wicca conforms to all definitions. It is ever-present, if we could travel to any location, at any point in time, Wicca, that is, the laws and beliefs that comprise Wicca, would still be in effect. Obviously the ethics would differ from situation to situation, but the basic religion would stay the same. Wicca is not limited by one's location. At the same time, Wicca encompasses The All, and The All is encompassed in Wicca. Unlike many faiths, we do not believe the soul has a part of divinity that is separate from our body and mind. While philosophers like Plato taught that the divinity manifested by the unity of the various parts of the Psyche/Soul was a state to be achieved 2, we teach that total integration is there from the start, giving us unlimited power, control of our own destiny and the Will to do anything, best described in the catchphrase from Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a strange land."'coined by The Church of All Worlds (vol.1)

All One Wicca: - A Study in The Universal Eclectic Wiccan Tradition - Book Two: A Grimoire

More than a book of “spells,” the Grimoire was an instruction manual, telling the Witch or Sorcerer many of the “secrets” of the universe. The information here is not wholly Wiccan, and what is Wiccan is not wholly Universal Eclectic Wiccan, but anyone with an interest in old ways may find much of what lies within useful. My suggestion is that one use this as a starter grimoire, building their own from this point forward. I’m a bit of an old mule in my separation of the Grimoire and the Book of Light, I know that many gather it all into one great tome, with all their little bits of knowledge interspersed with prayers and rituals, but I like to keep them only partially together, if at all. Much of what I studied in writing All One Wicca were personal journals, so I realize that with the changing of technology my disks will become obsolete. As a result, I print everything out in duplicate. Hopefully, if Wicca becomes suppressed, these printouts will not read like some of the “translations” of the great metaphysicists of the past, with the word “Illegible” in the middle of a spell or worse, the translator’s best guess.(vol 2)

A Practical Guide to Witchcraft and Magic Spells

This is a book about white magick and witchcraft as sources of wisdom, healing and positivity. Like Native American spirituality, to which true witchcraft is akin (some say both were carried by the people of Atlantis), the practice of white magick is based on the belief that that all life is sacred and interconnected in an unbroken circle. For example, every fully grown birch tree - defined in magick as a tree of new beginnings and regeneration - breathes out enough oxygen for a family of four and absorbs the carbon dioxide that we exhale, transforming it again to life-giving oxygen. And this sacred spark of a common source of divinity is contained not only by trees, but also the stones, the animals, the people and everything else on the Earth and in the waters and the sky. Our higher selves, our souls, are influenced by the cycles of the Sun, the Moon, the stars and the natural world on a deep spiritual level. We can draw down their energies into ourselves to amplify and replenish our own, like tapping into a cosmic energy supply rather than having to recharge our powers from our own, separate dynamos. Through them and through us courses the universal life force, known as ch'i to the Chinese, and prana in Hindu philosophy. It is a source upon which we can draw not only nor primarily for specific needs, but also for energy, harmony and connection with others, the world and the cosmos. It is an energy that can permeate every aspect of our being.

 MIND-ITS MYSTERIES AND CONTROL

To everyone striving for success in life, the invariable stumbling block proves to be the turbulent vagaries of the mind. An undisciplined mind makes a man slave and wrecks his life. Controlling and subduing it is the most vexing of problems to the earnest seeker of happiness. The vital importance of the subject, therefore, prompted H.H. Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj to write this comprehensive work "MIND.ITS MYSTERIES AND CONTROL." It is meant to serve as a valuable guide to all aspirants and it is also of immense help to anyone in any walk of life. Being the outcome of personal experience of the revered author and written with a practical end in view, "MIND-ITS MYSTERIES AND CONTROL" is a treasure worthy to be possessed and studied constantly.

You CAN Learn to Read Tarot Cards!

A Pictorial Key to the Tarot

Never pay for a tarot card reading again!  You CAN learn to read Tarot Cards and we can show you how.  You'll be able to do Tarot Card readings for yourself, your family and friends, and even paying clients!

You don't need psychic ability or any connection to the spirit world.  All you need is the proper education to show you how to interpret the symbolism the cards in various layouts.  It is easier than you think...with...

The Ancient Art of Tarot Card Reading

People have been reading Tarot Cards for centuries, believing in their messages, prophecies, and lessons.  Why has this art form and the curiosity surrounding it lasted so long?  Why do people continue to rely upon Tarot Cards today?  We are an industrial society that seeks answers through science and mathematics, no longer a world that relies upon stars, symbols, and religions to provide answers for us.  Perhaps it is this very reason that we as a people are so interested in the Tarot -- because we realize science cannot answer all questions -- that is there is some greater, unexplainable force that indeed plays a hand in daily events, sight unseen.

Learn to Read the Symbols within the Tarot

The nature of Tarot Cards is not to provide direct "yes" or "no" answers; it is not a Magic 8 Ball.  A Tarot Card reading, instead, delves deeply into issues surrounding the Asker's main questions, providing a symbolism that must be interpreted for each individual.  Each Tarot Card represents a different facet of a human's life, and its placement within the Tarot Spread lends more significant direction on how to interpret the Card itself and in conjunction with its surrounding Cards.

Thus, learning Tarot Cards DOES take practice and the Reader needs to be equipped with the true meanings of each Card and how it relates to the other Cards.

While performing the Reading, if the Reader misinterprets a Card's symbolism, it can do much damage to the Asker, as it will lead them down a path that is not correct.  One can just imagine the implications of a Reader somewhat off-handedly misrepresenting the Death card!

Let's Take a Peek Inside...

With Learn to Read Tarot Cards, you will be equipped with all the proper information, history, symbolism, and histories of each Card and how to properly interpret a Tarot Card Spread.

Each Card is individually showcased and discussed to provide you with the most information possible in order to do a proper Reading.

Learn to Read Tarot Cards breaks everything down for you so that you will easily be able to learn all you need to be an expert Tarot Card Reader.  if you order this incredible package today, you'll receive in-depth studies within its chapters, such as...

The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage has remained popular among English-speaking ceremonial magicians and occultists interested in Hermetic Qabalah, Christian Kabbalah and grimoires. The magic described in the book was to find new life in the 19th and 20th centuries thanks to the English translation of Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers and its import within the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and later within the mystical system of Thelema, established in 1904 by Aleister Crowley.

During the period of the work, the magician must daily pray before sunrise and again at sunset. During this preparatory phase, there are many restrictions: chastity must be observed, alcoholic beverages refused, and the magician must conduct his business with scrupulous fairness.

After the preparatory phase has been successfully completed, the magician's guardian angel will appear to reveal to the magician magical secrets. Once this is accomplished, the magician must evoke the 12 Kings and Dukes of Hell (Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, etc) and bind them. Thereby, the magician gains command of them and removes their negative influence from his life.

Arthur Edward Waite (October 2, 1857 - May 19, 1942) was an occultist and co-creator of the the popular and widely used Rider-Waite Tarot deck and author of its companion volume, the Pictorial Key to the Tarot. This was notable for being one of the first decks to illustrate all 78 cards fully, as opposed to the 22 major arcana.

Waite was a prolific author with many of his works being well received in academic circles. He wrote occult texts on subjects including divination, Rosicrucianism, freemasonry, black and ceremonial magic, Kabbalism and alchemy; he also translated and reissued several important mystical and alchemical works. His works on the Holy Grail, influenced by his friendship with Arthur Machen, were particularly notable. A number of his volumes remain in print, The Book of Ceremonial Magic, The Holy Kabbalah, and New Encyclopedia of Freemasonry having seen reprints in recent years.

History of the Necronomicon

H. P. Lovecraft wrote this brief pseudo-history of the Necronomicon in 1927, which was then published in 1938 after his death.

The Necronomicon

The Simon Necronomicon is the best-known of the many real Necronomicon claimants. It is called the Simon Necronomicon because its introduction was written by a man identified only as "Simon." The book is largely based on Sumerian mythology and attempts to identify the Great Old Ones and other creatures from Lovecraft's Mythos with gods and demons from the Sumerian myths. The myths presented in the book are a blend of Mesopotamian myths (not only Sumerian, but Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian as well), and a storyline of unknown authenticity about a man known only as the "Mad Arab."

The Necronomicon Spellbook

The mighty powers invoked by this eldritch tome are really long-forgotten psychic abilities, able to affect the most basic needs and desires, including Love, Wealth, Peace of Mind, and Protection Against Enemies. But now comes a guide that enables anyone to pick up the book and use its ineluctable power "without fear or risk", according to editor Simon.

The Necronomicon: The Book of Dead Names

The Necronomicon gazes backwards into the abyss of time, enshrining the remnant of a perilous magical inheritance, one that comes from an ancient, pre-human past when awful Entities wrestled for possession of the earth. Where did they go and what is their legacy? The Necronomicon evokes strange answers to these questions. Usually ascribed to H P Lovecraft, this dark work may actually come from a time long ago, and a tradition that is not human.

The R'Lyeh Text: Hidden Leaves from the Necronomicon

There is a race, says occultist Robert Turner, that rides curiously in tandem with humanity; a shadow an intense and inseparable as "Mr. Hyde". So begins this presentation of the freshly deciphered text of the magical grimoire known as It pulls the reader into a darkly ambiguous reality where there are instructions for calling up potent entities-but nothing to reveal their intentions toward us. Must reading for anyone interested in the occult.

Walking Between The Worlds: Techniques of Modern Shamanism Volume I

This book is a collection of practical exercises, the aim of which is to enhance awareness of the world around us. The first part of this book deals with basic sensory exercises, while the second half deals with trance states, and some of the basic group dynamics involvedin helping other people into them. Using these techniques will not make you a 'shaman/shamanka', but they are drawing on the shamanic outlook - which depends from an enhanced awareness of our environment, and the ability to mediate between the everyday, and the sacred aspects of our experience. Walking between the Worlds requires that we learn to extend our perceptions from the ordinary, to see the extra-ordinary which lies within it. Many of the techniques require group exploration, since it is impossible to growin total isolation from others.

Two Worlds and Inbetween: Techniques of Modern Shamanism Volume II

Two Worlds & Inbetween is a companion volume to Walking Between the Worlds. Whilst the latter dealt primarily with enhancing sensory awareness and the induction of trance states by various methods, this present work provides a simple schema for partitioning aspects of our experience, and suggests exercises within a broad conceptual framework for self-exploration and development.
